Kolozsvary latches on with the Twins just a few days after electing free agency following his removal from Baltimore's 40-man roster. the 27-year-old backstop got into one game this season for the Orioles and represents some emergency catching depth for Minnesota moving forward.
Trevor Gott (back) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Tacoma.
Gott has been out since early June due to a lower back muscle spasm and figures to return to Seattle's bullpen mix before the start of July.
Jason Alexander (shoulder) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Double-A Biloxi.
There's still a chance for the Summer of George if Alexander can get back to Milwaukee in the next few weeks. He's been out since spring training due to a right rotator cuff strain. The 30-year-old righty made 18 appearances (11 starts) last year for the Brewers.
Noah Song (back) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment next week.
Song will have to be added back to the Phillies' active roster once he's wrapped up a rehab assignment, but that decision likely won't come until sometime in late July closer to the trade deadline. The 26-year-old Rule 5 selection has been out since spring training due to an ongoing back issue.
Daniel Hudson (knee) will make his next minor league rehab appearance for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hudson has transferred his rehab assignment to the upper minors after making a couple appearances for the Dodgers' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate. There's a chance he's back in Los Angeles' high-leverage relief mix at some point later this month.
Cal Quantrill (shoulder) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Friday with Triple-A Columbus.
Quantrill has been on the shelf since the outset of June due to right shoulder inflammation. He's unlikely to rejoin Cleveland's starting rotation mix when his rehabilitation process is over given their overabundance of quality options at the moment.
Pirates optioned RHP Yohan Ramirez to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Ramirez has posted a strong 3.00 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 23/12 K/BB ratio across 24 innings (19 appearances) this season for the Pirates. The 28-year-old righty figures to return in a couple weeks.
Pirates recalled OF Cal Mitchell from Triple-A Indianapolis.
Bryan Reynolds is dealing with some sort of injury issue, which has prompted the Pirates to bring up Mitchell ahead of Tuesday's contest against the Cubs. The 24-year-old outfielder will be making his season debut when he gets into a game. He got into 69 contests last year for Pittsburgh in his rookie campaign.
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the White Sox' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.
It appears to be a scheduled day off for Robert Jr., who has started every game for Chicago since May 27. It'll be Clint Frazier in center field on Tuesday night.

It appears Amaya will avoid a trip to the injured list after being hit by a pitch on the hand during Sunday's series finale against the Orioles. It'll be Yan Gomes handling the catching duties for at least the next few days.

Tarik Skubal (elbow) will make another minor league rehab start on Wednesday for Triple-A Toledo.
Skubal has looked extremely sharp in three minor league rehab outings and will continue building up his pitch count and stamina at the Triple-A level. The 26-year-old southpaw figures to rejoin Detroit's starting rotation at some point in early July.

Sánchez takes a seat on Tuesday evening with southpaw Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for the Blue Jays.
