Mullins landed on the injured list in late May with a right groin strain and remains without a timetable to return. Aaron Hicks will continue to see plenty of playing time in center field in Baltimore while the 28-year-old outfield is on the mend.
Brewers activated LHP Wade Miley from the 15-day injured list.
Miley pitched well for the Brewers before he landed on the injured list in mid-May. The 36-year-old posted a 3.67 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 24/9 K/BB ratio and will start against the Pirates on Saturday.
Brewers activated OF Jesse Winker from the 10-day injured list.
Winker landed on the injured list in late May with a neck strain. He was hitting well during his rehab assignment -- going 5-for-13 -- and will look to keep the good times rolling when he returns to the Brewers' starting lineup.
Brewers optioned RHP Tyson Miller to Triple-A Nashville.
The 27-year-old has a 5.19 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 7/1 K/BB ratio over six appearances for the Brewers this season. He will head to Triple-A Nashville as veteran starter Wade Miley returns from the injured list.
Brewers designated 1B Jon Singleton for assignment.
The 31-year-old was hitting .103/.188/.138 in 11 games for the Brewers. It was a great story that he made it back to the majors, but he wasn't hitting well enough to remain on the roster.
Athletics selected the contract of INF Tyler Wade from Triple-A Las Vegas.
The 28-year-old was hitting .239/.353/.296 with 15 steals in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League and returned to the majors after Kevin Smith landed on the injured list. Wade is a great real-life player due to his defensive skills, but he isn't as valuable for our game.
Athletics placed INF Kevin Smith on the 10-day injured list with a back strain.
Smith was a scratch from Friday's contest against the Phillies with tightness in his back. The pain must not have eased up as the 26-year-old heads to the injured list on Saturday. Tyler Wade was recalled in a corresponding transaction.
Francisco Lindor is not in the Mets' starting lineup for Saturday's showdown against the Cardinals.
It appears to be a scheduled day off for the 29-year-old veteran. The switch-hitting shortstop has struggled this season, hitting .211/.289/.411 with 12 homers and six steals. Luis Guillorme will bat ninth and play shortstop in his place.
Mauricio Dobón is not in the Astros' starting lineup for Saturday's showdown against the Reds.
The 28-year-old has been bouncing around the field playing second base, shortstop, and left field but will get a well-deserved day off on Saturday. Dobón is hitting .288/.283/.481 with two homers and two steals in June. Cory Julks will bat lead-off and play left field in his place.
Joey Gallo is not in the Twins' starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the Tigers.
With lefty Joey Wentz starting for the Tigers, Gallo will start Saturday's game on the bench. The 29-year-old slugger has rebounded after a disastrous season last year and is hitting .196/.328/.480 with 11 homers. Willi Castro will bat sixth and play left field in his absence.
Stuart Fairchild (neck) is not in the Reds' starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the Astros.
Fairchild was a late scratch from Friday's contest and remained on the bench Saturday. He is still considered day-to-day, and Will Benson will patrol right field while the 27-year-old is on the mend.
Cubs placed INF Patrick Wisdom on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist sprain.
Wisdom was hitting .196/.285/.467 before spraining his right wrist. The team hasn't announced how long the 31-year-old third baseman will be on the shelf with the injury.
Matt Vierling is batting lead off and playing right field in Saturday's showdown against the Twins.
Since returning from the injured list, Vierling is hitting .529/.579/1.118 with three homers and four RBI. With Zach McKinstry's recent cold stretch, Vierling should see more consistent playing time going forward.

In two appearances for the Orioles, the 30-year-old righty posted a ghastly 10.13 ERA. He will head to Triple-A and serve and as an organizational bullpen depth.
Spencer Turnbull (neck) is scheduled to begin a throwing progression next week.
Turnbull has been on the shelf since mid-May due to neck discomfort. It is excellent that the 30-year-old is ready to participate in baseball activities but he remains without a timetable to return to the Tigers rotation.
Tigers 3B prospect Colt Keith went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer for Double-A Erie on Friday.
The homer was Keith's 14th dinger of the season, and he currently has a ten-game hitting streak. The 21-year-old is excelling in his first taste of Double-A and is hitting .332/.402/.614 across 53 games. He is not on the 40-man roster, but he might force the Tigers' hand if he keeps hitting this well.
Tarik Skubal will make another minor league rehab start this week for Triple-A Toledo.
Skubal has been outstanding in his three rehab starts. The 26-year-old has yet to give up a run and has struck out 12 while not walking a single batter. He will likely need another start or two after Wednesday's contest at Triple-A Toledo, but he would be an excellent stash for fantasy managers looking for pitching help.
